About Us

Not many people in this world dare to dream big and realize their dreams. One such great dream came true on 17th July, 2001, on the banks of river Saraswati, with the establishment of Seth Navrang Rai Lohia Jairam Girls College in the rural area known as Lohar Majra. The realization of this great dream could not have been possible without the vision and support of Sh. M.L. Lohia.

The establishment of this college is also great due to its objective of empowering rural women. The entire Lohia family and the Gram Panchayat of Lohar Majra made great financial and moral contributions for the growth and development of this girls college, aimed at empowering long suppressed women of this rural area.

The education curriculum of this college is provided in main streams of Arts, Commerce and Science. It is completely based on Kurukshetra University recommendations. Dr. Radhakrishan Foundation Fund Scholarship is awarded to college students with brilliant academic performance. At present, over 700 students are pursuing different courses, like BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, PGDCA & BCA, from this college. The authorities are also making efforts to start 2 new courses, namely M.Com & MBA, in the campus.

Sh. Devendra Swaroop Brahamchari ji and Sh. Braham Swaroop Brahamchari ji has also supported this noble cause of empowering rural women in Lohar Majra, by sustaining the vision of Sh. M.L. Lohia and by promoting different courses, offered by Seth Navrang Rai Lohia Jairam Girls College.
